This Page is here to track and list known Bugs and Issues users may encounter. Its also a to-do list of what fixes should be applied to the next file-system image release of PlugPBX.

Workarounds will also be listed until they can be addressed with future SD card image releases. The other intent is that if anyone knows the fixes / workarounds for these issues please share so we can make PlugPBX better for everyone. Karma right?! ;)

Dec 22 Release – aka Beta 3

  • Flash Operator Panel will show registration status of extensions, but will now show calling/caller activity. Likely FreePBX bug. Anyone have any insight?
  • CDR SQL logging of caller records does not seem to work reliably, quits after awhile. Not sure why. Likely existing Asterisk bug? Any have an insight into this yet? We consider this the most important issue to squash at present.


  • Several Munin plug-ins are not working correctly or incompatible with collection stats from Asterisk. We’ve also noticed the IOStat plugs are not collecting data. Anyone want to help out?
    • Looks like ‘iostat’ was not installed, just run the following command to resolve disk I/O charting in Munin
apt-get install sysstat 

Update: Looks like the scripting is setup for ‘typical’ disks in Munin, but not mmc (SD cards) and the like. Likely some tweaks required here with Munin modules (scripts)  longer term to lookat mtd devices, and not just dev/sd* devices. Any other USB attached storage seems to show up once connected. Not fixed yet (low priority)

  • Some users are reporting DHCP lease issues – Beta1 and 2 issue which has been fixed and is included in Beta3 already.


  • Possible issue with SD card usage long term (kernel no longer able to use disk until system rebooted?) – Investigating further
